How the tiers work

Two tiers, one honest rule.

Core is a complete product on its own, built for a farm that runs as one legal entity and wants to know what every field makes. Plus goes deeper: room for more entities, and a finer level of detail everywhere it matters. Individual animals instead of groups. Contracts and basis instead of cash sales alone. Market values and accrual adjustments instead of book balances. It's the granular layer that turns a clear picture into a deep understanding of the operation.

AllBARB and the dashboard, on every plan, no exceptions.
On every plan

The parts everyone gets.

Dashboard

Your home base. Weather, alerts, recent activity, and the operation's key numbers on one screen when you log in.

BARB, your built-in assistant

Ask about your operation the way you'd ask a person, and she answers from your live farm data and your real QuickBooks transactions. She'll also walk you through any screen in the app, step by step. Talk instead of type if your hands are full; she can answer out loud too.

And it all works on your phone too, for entry from the cab or the barn.
Fields & field records

Your land, organized the way you actually run it.

All of it in Core

Grower, farm, field

Organize your ground as growers, their farms, and each farm's fields, the same structure your FSA paperwork and your head already use.

Sub-field zones

Split a field into acreage zones, each with its own crop, variety, and profitability. When half a field drinks and half drowns, you'll know what each half cost you.

Crop assignments

Assign a crop and variety to every field and zone each year. Perennials carry forward on their own.

Field operations, all seven kinds

Log tillage, planting, spraying, fertilizing, harvest, custom work, and everything else, each with its costs, products, and the equipment that did it.

Adaptive harvest

The harvest form knows what's planted in each field and zone and adapts to it: grain crops capture bushels, moisture, and which bin they went to, while specialty and forage crops capture their own units straight into storage. Everything posts to the right inventory and builds your APH yield history as you go. And one entry can cover multiple fields and zones, each with its own crop, so a long day in the combine is still one short entry at night.

APH yield history

Actual Production History, field by field, year over year, the record your crop insurance runs on.

Profit by field and by zone

Every cost and every dollar of revenue rolls down to the piece of ground it belongs to, so each field shows its own margin.

Input inventory

Every bag, jug, and gallon accounted for.

In Core

Products and purchases at cost

Seed, fertilizer, chemical, fuel, and parts tracked as inventory from the day you buy them, at what you actually paid.

Weighted-average costing

On-hand inputs valued at a blended average, so partial-price purchases don't skew a field's cost.

Spray and tank mixes

Build multi-product mixes with rates once, then apply them to spray operations without re-entering the recipe.

Storage locations

Know which shed, tank, or tote it's sitting in.

Consumption flows to field costs

Use an input on a field and two things happen automatically: inventory draws down, and the cost lands on that field. This is the engine behind real cost of production.

Plus adds

Prepay and payables

Track prepaid input purchases, deliveries against them, and what you still owe each vendor, feeding the prepaid-expenses line on your balance sheet.

QuickBooks inventory push

TallyAg deducts inventory in QuickBooks automatically, creates items, and posts adjustments, so the books match the shed without double entry.

Equipment

What the iron costs, and where it earns it.

In Core

Equipment registry

Every machine, with details and purchase info, in one list.

Service and maintenance records

Log repairs and upkeep with their costs, so the machine's real cost of ownership is on record.

Cost allocation to fields and crops

Operating costs spread across the ground each machine worked, feeding straight into field profitability.

Plus adds

Depreciation schedules

MACRS, Section 179, and bonus depreciation, calculated instead of hand-built in a spreadsheet.

Form 4562

The depreciation and amortization data your tax return needs, ready for your CPA.

Equipment valuation report

Current market value across the fleet, feeding the market-value balance sheet.

Machine cost report

What each machine actually costs to own and run, so the next trade decision starts from numbers.

Replacement schedule

See what's aging out and when, so trades get planned instead of forced.
